The City of New Roads invites all to celebrate the birth of our nation ahead of this Fourth of July on Morrison Parkway along False River with food, entertainment, and activities for the whole family beginning at noon. The day also includes sounds by Total Control and boats floating up and down

The parade will start at 6 p.m.

Total Control 8:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Admission is free on Friday, October 14th. General admission tickets for Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 are available at the gate or online

The Soul Food Festival, sponsored by the 100 Black Men of St. Mary Parish is a celebration of Juneteenth In Franklin. Music, Soul Food, a 5-K run/walk, Soul Food Cooking Contest, Financial Seminar and Gospel Brunch. A Health Village highlight the three day event.
