The Avery Island Fan Experience is the perfect itinerary for TABASCO® superfans. It starts with a self-guided tour of the TABASCO® Museum for a look at the McIlhenny family and the history of TABASCO®, then a visit to the greenhouse, barrel warehouse, blending room and bottling room for a true seed-to-sauce experience. Stop by Avery Island exhibit and the Jungle Gardens to learn more about the family’s commitment to conservation, and grab lunch at the TABASCO® Restaurant 1868, paired with a drink from the Bloody Mary Bar.
The Panola Pepper Corporation bottled their first Gourmet Pepper Sauce in 1983, and the company is still family-owned and operated. Take a tour of their factory and distribution center in Lake Providence — both are still located “Right on the Farm.”
Trapp’s on the River is located on the riverfront in West Monroe, owned by the inventors of Trappey’s Hot Sauce, a local favorite.
