The purposes and objectives of the LASG/Phase 3 Program are to provide assistance to existing, Louisiana-based tourism attractions to enhance the visitor experience at the attractions and/or promote and attract visitors to the tourism attractions. Eligible entities are defined in Section IV. of the Guidelines/Application. Applicants that meet eligibility criteria can apply for a maximum award of $10,000.00. Eligible expenses include media placement; media production/videography/photography services; licensing/artists’ fees; printing of collateral and/or trade/consumer show materials; exhibit expenses; and on-site signage.
Grant funding for Tier 2 attractions (those attractions located in parishes with populations exceeding 115,000) has been exhausted. At the application deadline, should requests for funding for Tier 1 be less than its allocation, funds will be allocated to Tier 2 applicants in the order the applications were received.
Application packet must be postmarked on or before November 14, 2024, or received via email ([email protected]) or fax (225-342-1051) by 4:30pm CT Thursday, November 14, 2024.
