The Ledge
The view that Terrance Howard and Charlie Hunnam’s characters have in The Ledge might be slightly dizzier than the emotional twists and turns in the movie itself. Filmed in Baton Rouge, the sweeping bird’s eye view from the top of a downtown building shows the Mississippi River and the Riverfront Plaza – a favorite of visitors and locals for a scenic stroll. Often seen in the camera pans emphasizing the character’s precarious perch is the Old State Capitol. The castle-like structure served as the state capitol building from 1884-1932, and today hosts a museum with exhibits and a ghost experience.
