New Orleans: Celebrate independence all day at New Orleans’ family-friendly Go 4th on the River celebration. We recommend snagging a front-row seat on an iconic New Orleans steamboat for the best fireworks view.
Slidell: Slidell Heritage Festival touts live music performances, food trucks with local fare and craft vendors. Kiddos will love waterslides and face-painting, but most importantly, they'll love ending the night with a fireworks show.
Youngsville: Head over to the Youngsville Sports Complex for the Youngsville Independence Celebration. Enjoy music, family-friendly fun and a massive fireworks show.
Fourth of July Celebrations in Central Louisiana
Marksville: Avoyelles Arts & Music Festival is the state’s longest running Independence Day parade — and for good reason. Sample scrumptious desserts at food booths, browse vintage cruisers at a car show and enjoy live music from Louisiana musicians.
Natchitoches: Start your Independence Day festivities at Natchitoches Balloon Festival. Hot air balloons of every color take to the skies above the Cane River, with live music, food vendors and fireworks at night.
Where to See July Fourth Fireworks in North Louisiana
Monroe: Start your July Fourth weekend with shopping, great food and festivities throughout Monroe and West Monroe, and end the night with Independence Day Celebration fireworks from the Endom Bridge over the Ouachita River.
Shreveport: Thanks to KTBS Freedom Fest, there’s no shortage of Fourth of July festivities. View the amazing fireworks display from multiple locations across the ArkLaTex area.
