Livingston Parish CVB

Kayaking on Lake Maurepas

Livingston Parish is located on I-12 just east of Baton Rouge. We are the fastest growing parish in Louisiana with many sporting opportunities. Livingston has more than 40 baseball and softball fields and is now home to Challenger Field, a baseball facility built by the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation for athletes with disabilities — the only one of its kind in Louisiana. Some of our youth sporting opportunities include soccer, football, cheer, basketball, karate, tennis and more.

Livingston is also home to two beautiful golf courses, Greystone Golf and Country Club and Carter Plantation. Greystone is 10 minutes from Baton Rouge and Carter Plantation — part of the Audubon Golf Trail — is less than 45 minutes from New Orleans. Both are open to the public and host several tournaments each year.

Our Bass Pro Shop embodies what Livingston Parish is all about — the great outdoors. With over 400 miles of navigable waterways, our sporting opportunities are endless. Fishing tournaments are hosted throughout the year and our waterways are also home to the largest power boat poker run in the U.S., the Tickfaw 200. Our visitors take advantage of the many opportunities our waterways have to offer such as canoeing, water skiing, fishing, boating and tubing.
