Wanderlust Rentals makes it easy to explore Louisiana’s scenic waterways with convenient, self-service kayak rentals across Acadiana. Founded in 2022, Wanderlust provides flexible, contactless access to paddling adventures on Bayou Vermilion, Bayou Teche in Downtown New Iberia, and at Cypremort Point and Palmetto State Park.

On Bayou Vermilion, guests can launch from Vermilionville and paddle downriver to The Empanada Guy, Cottages on the Bayou, Camellia Bridge, or Southside Park—choosing trips that range from a quick 20-minute paddle to a relaxing 4-hour adventure.

Rentals are simple and affordable:
• Single kayaks – $20 first hour, $10 each additional hour
• Tandem kayaks – $30 first hour, $10 each additional hour

Guests download the ShareKayak app, scan the QR code at any kiosk, sign the waiver, and unlock their kayak—making it easy to get on the water and enjoy Louisiana’s natural beauty at your own pace.
