Ernst Café serves up the hearty local fare that has earned our city its notable reputation and the drinks to match. In 1902, Joseph, William, and Charles Ernst leased the building and founded Ernst Café, which has now been locally owned and operated for over 100 years. Our unique dining experience allows you to enjoy famed New Orleans cuisine while basking in the city's captivating history.

Just blocks from Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and a short walk from downtown hotels, we're situated in a prime location that offers easy access to the famed French Quarter. 

Our prime location in the historic Warehouse District offers the perfect space for an unforgettable event. The Lafayette Room features an open floor plan and charming exposed brick walls, encapsulating an authentically New Orleans atmosphere. The floor to ceiling windows and Bevolo gas lanterns create an attractive and inviting location perfect for your next private party. Boasting a 150-person capacity, you can reserve this room to host a vibrant, well-attended event. Our space also unfolds into a large wrap-around balcony that overlooks Fulton Street Square and captures the chic, local delight that is the Warehouse District.
