Raised Creole Antebellum home circa 1830. Owned by same family for 137 years. A working sugarcane plantation. Visit original slave cabins and dependencies and see many exhibits about sugarcane and early life on this sugar plantation. Open Monday - Saturday, first tour at 10:00am, last tour at 3:00pm. "Mourning Tour" featuring the customs of 19th Century Croele Mourning runs entire month of October. An authentic tour of a Croele sugar plantation. Many guides are descendants.
