Where The Crawdads Sing

You might not recognize Houma's Historic Downtown District in "Where the Crawdads Sing," based on the bestselling novel of the same name, but that’s because it was dolled up in its 1960s throwback apparel. The sleepy little town in the movie is a bit different from today’s downtown Houma which boasts shops, restaurants, and live music venues. One such venue – Lumiere Blues & Jazz Bistro – serves traditional south Louisiana fare with the freshest ingredients and tunes heavily flavored with Jazz (as the name suggests).
