Cajun Christmas in Louisiana

The Great River Road region between New Orleans and Baton Rouge offers an unusual holiday tradition: Christmas bonfires on the Mississippi River levee. These 20-to-30-foot-high pyramids are set on fire and accompanied with warm beverages, caroling and delicious food.
