Monkey Trail

Over 10 miles of some of the best trails can be found in the Shreveport area's Monkey Trail, where you walk, run and ride. The path contains mainly singletrack trail, with plenty of climbing in a scenic environment. The short, steep climbs and descents with several 180-degree switchbacks are the most impressive features for the adventure-seeker. The trail also features a 1.5-mile hiking path for beginners. Restroom facilities are on site.

The path is located inside Eddie D. Jones Park in Keithville, just outside of Shreveport. When you’re ready to rest, stroll through the American Rose Center Gardens, a vivid, perfumed space with hundreds of delicate flowers to admire. Or, cool off indoors at the Shreveport Aquarium.
