French Quarter to the Lakefront Loop
Ride through Esplanade Avenue, part of the oldest subdivision in the country. See beautiful homes, lush gardens and historical architecture as you zip through routes that parallel Bayou St. John, City Park and Lake Pontchartrain.
Take Canal Boulevard to return home to see Lakeview and the always-bustling Canal Street, where several famous, historical New Orleans cemeteries are available to tour. Keep peddling and you'll run into the French Quarter, an area as rich in culture, history and music as it is beauty.
After a long ride, make your way to the French Market, where the original Café Du Monde still stands, and enjoy a plate of fluffy beignets and a mug of chicory-spiced café au lait.
