Tamahka Trails Golf Club
Location
Tamahka Trails Golf Club meanders through a beautiful 230 acre tract of rolling terrain, which is very unique to central and south Louisiana. The golf course features winding creeks, majestic century-old trees along with native wildlife providing a sense of seclusion and harmony with nature. The course was designed by award-winning architect, Steve Smyers, who thoughtfully incorporated the natural features of this picturesque landscape in creating one of the premier golf courses in Louisiana. This 18 hole, par 71 championship layout will challenge scratch golfers from the back tees, while providing an enjoyable and memorable experience for higher handicappers by offering 5 sets of tees (ranging from 7,019 yards to 4,370). As a testament to the uniqueness and quality of design, Tamahka Trails was selected to be a three time host site for U.S. Open qualifying and a charter member club of the Audubon Golf Trail. Tamahka Trails has also been selected to host multiple championships for the Louisiana Golf Association along with hosting thousands of corporate and charity tournament participants each year. Golfers travel from throughout the region to experience Tamahka Trails.
