Whether serving the public as a bank or a post office, this building has stood silent witness to the entire history of the town of Addis. Through hard work and determination, this wonderful building has been dedicated as the Addis Museum. Built in 1920, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and houses a collection of photographs, memorabilia and exhibits of Addis' history as a railroad town. The museum includes exhibits on the importance of the railroad to Addis, Mardi Gras and Military history with items from local veterans.
