Honors the Acadian/Cajun people who found refuge in Louisiana after the British perpetrated a genocide and forced them from Acadie (eastern Canadian provinces) in the mid-18th century. A mural depicts Acadian arrival, audio stories bring it to life, Wall of names of Acadian refugees, meditation garden, eternal flame, Grand-Pré Deportation cross replica, mosaic Acadian family Coats of Arms, museum of the Acadian Memorial.
