A small family owned and operated business just several miles from New Orleans, where you will experience an unforgettable authentic bayou tour. We dock at our bayou bar, where we offer local dishes and a variety of beverages (outside seating available on our dock for groups with children under 18). Feel free to arrive early for a bite and/or drinks (at local prices, not increased touristy prices) and/or to purchase drinks to take on the tour. Much more than a gator tour, Capt. George will take you through the beautiful waterways of Violet in St. Bernard Parish, where you will see various wildlife that inhabit the area, camps on the bayou (including his own, which is a restroom stop during the tour), fishing boats, crab traps and more. A commercial crab fisherman and lifetime resident, he will share personal knowledge and experiences while growing up on these waters. Come relax on the bayou, and see how we live.
