City of New Roads Independence Day

The City of New Roads invites all to celebrate the birth of our nation ahead of this Fourth of July on Morrison Parkway along False River with food, entertainment, and activities for the whole family beginning at noon. The day also includes sounds by Total Control and boats floating up and down False River, with the annual boat parade beginning at 2 pm with boats dressed in vibrant shades of red, white, and blue. Music starts at 5 pm with a firework show at 9 pm. Free. Noon–midnight. newroads.net.
