Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation

As one of America’s premier event destinations, the Greater New Orleans area has been the backdrop for countless sporting events. Home to iconic venues like the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and the Smoothie King Center, New Orleans offers first-class amenities to events of all sizes.

Organized in August 1988, the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation partners with tourism stakeholders throughout the area to provide event owners an unmatched experience. Acting as a non-profit 501(c) (4) organization whose mission is to attract and manage sporting events that have a positive economic impact on the State of Louisiana in the Greater New Orleans area.

These events include 3 Super Bowls, 4 NCAA Men’s Final Fours, 4 Women’s Final Fours, 3 NBA All-Star Games, 2 WWE WrestleManias and hundreds more.
