DeSoto Parish Police Jury, hosted by C.E. "Rusty" Williams Airport, proudly presents the 8th Annual Balloons over DeSoto. Sunday July 20th 2025 @ 4:00pm.
Free family orientated event.
Bring the kids or kids at heart to enjoy the Bouncy house sponsored by Carter Federal Credit Union. Enjoy our newest addition to the festival, the Virtual Reality gaming truck. You can also sit back and listen on our main stage, brought to you by Market Place Chevrolet, a live Louisiana Zydeco band. When you get hungry or thirsty we have several food vendors from you to choose from, you can even try some authentic fried gator. Not only food vendors we will have some arts and craft vendors that will surely have something that you didn't know you needed. Large seating tent with fans to keep you cool, sponsored by Mindy Runge Statefarm.

Balloon Glow and Tethered Rides
You and your family members can take a tethered ride in a hot air balloon making memories that will last forever. When the sun goes down and the night falls, the balloons will glow. Check out the beautiful balloons as they illuminate the airport. To cap off the event we have a beautiful firework display that's sure to leave you mesmerized.
Gates open at 4:00pm FREE parking, FREE Admission and FREE Shuttle service
