Shreveport-Bossier serves up gaming like no other city in the state, with world-class riverboat casinos all situated along the Red River, including Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Casino Resort Hotel, as well as live horse racing at Louisiana Downs Casino and Racetrack.

The city is packed with a rich musical heritage that spans from the legendary bluesman Huddie “Lead Belly” Ledbetter to Grammy-nominated guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Shreveport-Bossier also serves as the center of a flourishing film industry where stars come to work, live and play, like Academy Award-winning filmmaker William Joyce.
